Students who went through traditional kindergarten and preschool are educated with a different philosophy than those who were educated in a Montessori school. If you compare this type of schooling with Alsip Montessori, it is understandable. Traditional kindergarten and preschool do not encourage cognitive flexibility as much as Council Oak Montessori School – and this can lead to poor executive function skills.
